Throughout my life, football has been my passion. I started playing at the age of 6, finishing at 30 due to injury. My son went through all of the age groups at YMCA, so when the opportunity arose to become chair of this great club, I couldn't turn it down. The building blocks are in place from my predecessor Vic's great tenure, and I promise to build on them.

We have teams through all the age groups up to adult, and I hope more can be added in the coming seasons.

We are one of the city's oldest clubs, and we believe that whilst winning is important, it is not everything. The health and wellbeing of the young people is of paramount importance, and our coaches and backroom staff have this at the top of every agenda.
